My kids love cookies. In an effort to let them have a sweet treat but not have the refined sugars and junk, these have become our standby cookie. These are our no bake cookies and they consist of almond butter, peanut butter, flax seeds, coconut, slivered almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, dried fruit, honey, and maybe some chocolate chips. There is no measuring involved. You just throw random amounts of whatever you have in the pantry. I don't recommend cheetos or canned beans though.
Throw all the ingredients in a mixer and mix until they become a goopie consistency that looks scoopable. How's that for a proper recipe....no measurements and "goopie consistencey." Scoop onto wax paper or parchment paper. Then eat them.They turn out a little different each time.
These cookies serve as a wonderful source of plant based protein and nutrition all while being a treat. Mr. Hotsie is the kid that enjoys them the most:)
