I'm getting better! It's so nice to have the hope of health restored. I still have the nerve pain and eye pain but I'm praying that will go away quickly! What a miserable ride this has been but I'm thankful to see it coming to an end.

The kids stayed with Ryan's parents for a couple days so I could fully rest. That was much needed but I really missed them. They both looked like they grew a foot:) I remember my mom saying that to me when I came home from summer camp and I thought she was silly. Now that I'm a mom, I see what she meant! It was fun to see them and catch up on all the fun things they did. They told me nearly 122 times that they missed me:)

I have had some Anthropologie gift cards that I've been waiting to use. I wanted to get something unique that could be kept for years to come. I decided on this hat. I think it will be fun to wear with a black dress to the farm market, horse races, in my backyard, etc. So fun! I figure Ellia will enjoy playing with it down the road. It's great for concealing shingles too:)

It's beginning to look a lot like a baby is coming around here. I have things washed, set up, and ready to be used! We are so excited to meet this baby!

Today I go to the eye specialist again and I'm praying for a good report! Thanks for all of your concern and prayers!!

So glad to see that you're feeling a bit better, Haylee. What a blessing to have a little break - but I know what you mean about the kids coming home. When we came home from being in Chicago for just four days, I couldn't stop starting at our kids - they just looked so big and beautiful to me. I'm excited to hear about your growing family!

I am glad you are feeling better. The hat is very cool.

Haylee, I have been praying for frequently, and I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better. I know what you mean about trying to avoid as much "artificial" intervention as possible (taking medications). But it dawned on me the other day that I would have been dead 6 years ago if it weren't for medical intervention, stents, and medications. Who knows why things work the way they do? There's the old saying "Work like it all depends on you, but pray like it all depends on God." God's grace is what allows us to continue on each day. May His grace continue to meet your needs Haylee!
